State troopers in York were notified by the Baltimore County Sheriff's Office that the stolen vehicle was spotted going north on I-83 towards Pennsylvania around 5:19 p.m., according to a release on March 1.
A trooper caught sight of the car at the state line and attempted to stop the vehicle but it fled to Exit 14 Leader Heights Heights Exit (Exit 14). "A short while later, the vehicle came to a stop in a nearby field and all three vehicle occupants fled on foot," but were quickly apprehended by state police, as stated int he release.
Troopers soon learned all three suspects were children and "were found to be in possession of marijuana," the police say. "They were all transported back to PSP York Station where they were identified and released to the custody of their parents. Charges for Fleeing and eluding, drug possession, and receiving stolen property will be filed against them."
